I taped an entire intro and complete wash & rinse in my 'new' Simplicity Twin tub washer.
I'm not sure how to give you the links since I'm also new at using YouTube, but you can type in TwinTubber in the search and it will bring up the videos.

Simplicity/Speed Queen/Servis

Congratulations on getting a superb machine, its in great condition for its age, the Simplicity / Speed Queen twintubs where made under license from Servis UK who produced their first twinnies in 1959.

I like the fact you have a direct drive spinner which the ones here never had and the two speed agitation, I take it the twinny has one electric pump with a diverter valve from the washtub...

If you are using this as a daily driver one tip would be to use the electric pump to empty the spinner full of rinse water, then when the outer can is empty switch on the spinner, the strain the direct drive operates under when both tubs are of full of water will be immense and will wear it out quicker than you require.

Yes it has an electric pump with a diverter valve. I believe I showed that in operation in the first video.
And THANK YOU for the tip-I was wondering about the possible strain on the motor. I "assumed" it was built to handle it as the machine seems to have been designed to do an actual spin spray-rinse. But I would rather take care of it than abuse it anyday that's for sure.

And if anybody has a copy of the instruction manual for this OR even the Speed Queen version, I'd be happy to obtain a copy from them.
