Thanks Robert - it's so nice to finally be able to post a machine on the pink forum! I also forgot just how good the older frontloaders were - long before the days of energy labels and balancing routines. Dare I say it I might even start liking this Lavamat more than my Miele, or at least equally as much - the Miele is pretty tough to beat in my book . Who knows - 1 vintage washer (and 2 modern washers) at 18, perhaps as much as you have by the time I'm 40 .

Wow a cool machine there. It was sold here in sweden as well but was not succesfull by some reason.

About the reverse: it could be:The carbon brushes are bad, The electronics are in bad shape, The relay is not working properly. These are the most common problems if AEG´S machines drum dont move as it should. When the drum stop it should only be still in 5 seconds approx.

Really nice pics you took on the machine and the videos are also Mega cool. Hope more users load up clips here. A way of saving the files to your hardisk is that you search for and open up the "temporary internet files", They are not named the same thing as at putfile but they are there. Just a tip!.
