My first vintage washer!

Found this on Facebook Marketplace.. very good condition and really clean even underneath! Once I get moved I will get some pics/vids up of it running..

Belt driven, right?  If so, this would be basically the same series that knocked Maytag out of the #1 position per Consumer Reports washer tests in the mid/late '70s.

It was purchased in 1978.. it is belt driven and very clean underneath! No rust to be seen!

That looks a lot like my sister's first washer. She and her first husband married in June, 1979, and she had it until she remarried and moved into their current home in 1993. It and the matching dryer were Avocado.
