So Tony, does this mean you are going to use the WP set as your daily (weekly?) drivers?   Do you plan to use the Frigidaire dryer or are you going to wait until you can find a matching washer?   Or do you plan to use the Frigidaires at all (once you find it's mate)?

The reason I asked is..... IF you are planning to use the dryer pictured above, I will assume you are aware this is a "Filtrator" dryer, meaning it is a NON-vented dryer, meaning it vents into the room.    This of course means your room (or house) will get quite hot and (I assume, humid) each time you use the dryer.   Not a good thing during the summer months.

I just wanted to bring this to your attention if you weren't aware.

It's a very BEAUTIFUL dryer, BTW!

Thanks Kevin and everyone for the nice comments and information! It is nice to experience positive feedback about my new hobby! ( some of my friends think I am nuts to collect vintage appliances...maybe they are a little green with envy! LOL )

Currently my 1960 Frigidaire is in my garage ( pic in opening thread with cart ) I am not going to use it on a daily basis but I am hopeful if I can find the matching washer ...I would like to have a "wash in" and use all of my machines.

I am a realist about my chances of finding the matching 1960 Frigidaire CI washer ..maybe with this large community of members..that someone will know of someone who might could lead me to my matching washer ( working or not )..I would be willing to pay top dollar! ( [email protected] )

Malcom....I live near Northlake Mall - Chamblee..we should get together sometime..
as far as the 1987 WP set ... I am going today to pick them up from my mother's home...I will post the pics ASAP!

I am still waiting on getting my chance at the 1957 Frigidaire set...hopefully in the near future...
