Nice! I take it the camera makes it seem louder then in person?
Our A/C's have been running long cycles all day with the downstairs having been on continuous since 4PM as that's when the sun starts cooking the side of the house with the tstat. The high peaked at 91 at 1 PM and it's currently 88 and sunny at 6:30.

pretty quiet. At least more so than dad's r22 RUDD heat pump. Cycles are more frequent and run a bit longer but its 87 now, sun is moving down over the horizon and Lock Up on GRIT TV is playing.
So far, so good with the Goodman.

My 10+ years old Carrier does fine at 100°F+ outdoor temps and humidity off-the-scale, although it's very noisy. Been noisy for years, I suspect a support spring inside the compressor has broken and the mechanism is vibrating against the can ... but I don't care, no reason to replace it for noise until it fails in a worse way.
