My grandfather, who is 92, worked in Chicago in the 50's for several industrial design firms that did many products throughout the 50's. He worked first for Mel Boldt and Associates and then for Barnes and Reinecke Industrial Designers. He showed me his portfolio that had some products he had designed.

I'll attach pictures of products he designed as well as some documents from his files. He is an extremely talented artist and designer. He graduated from ArtCenter College of Design.

He had designs that were manufactured for Presto, Crosley, Bendix, Speed Queen, Munsey, Zenith, Sunbeam, Moffat, etc.

I love the picture of him at his desk and in front of the refrigerator he designed.

Very cool!

Your Grandfather's career is impressive!

I have always liked that Presto/Hamilton Beach/Hoover percolator, and have been trying to find one for some time. They are either still in use or are new Cadillacs.
