Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

unclejohn.....

I understand about the space issue.
I'm definitely getting a little cramped in my small apt. too. (Although I have been waiting to move into a larger unit in my building for some time now).
And now there is possibly not one, but TWO more matching sets of washer AND dryer on their way by the end of the month!
But then that's it for me.
I do have to sell my Bosch front-loader though and then I'll have some space for a couple of the twinnies to fit into.

P.S.-I think another member here in Ontario was looking for a twinnie as well-maybe you two could help each other out.

Yea, barcocoy, in the case I take the decision to sell (--mostly because of some space issues in my dwelling) you would be the first to know. Not sure yet however: If I happen to save some space to spare a little place for it I will probably try to keep hold of that baby in my collection. We'll see.

Now I've just finished today some little fixes, such as quite a few repairs to the paint, and I've also done what I should call 'anti-rust treatment'. Using a small brush I apply a sort of transparent varnish (thin laque) on metallic surfaces at various critical places. Rust is the public enemy number 1 of our old appliances (--and washers are exposed not only to direct water or moisture but also to detergent).

You're quite right twintubber, I will miss my beloved 0632 *very* much... But, hey, I still have 5 twinnies on hand! Perhaps it would be a good time saver trick to use all of them at once! (!?%) lol

Fan pulley

wight rabbit,

Like a lot that white painted fan pulley which drives the pulsator (wash-tub): as an ensemble, with paired fly-wheel and belt, not only does it works as a 'rotor' (that thing runs with high torque) but it also cools down the motor while in action. A similar version of that fan pulley seems to equip many north american Hoover models, though not all. A nice feature, imho. ;)

Heres a detail of the above picture:

Hi all.

Hopefully the photos below will be of use to all the 3314L-ers, as well as any 3312L-ers, 3310E and 3307E-ers:-)

Despite initial appearances, all the bumpf below covers all 4 models, with Hoover not being particularly good at creating individual model information. Instead they tended to issue a set for two or three models, then when another model appeared simply sneaked that model in there somewhere too!

Also they tended to issue information for new models based on only showing what was different to the previous model.
Hence there is a lot of too-ing and fro-ing between the previous model and the new supplements.

Not the easiest to use. Anyway....
