Okay, I finally upgraded my Flickr account and now I'm a Pro baby! (ahem).

What I'm gettin' at is that I can now finally upload my Connie pictures now that she's all clean and has a new filter, seal and bag!

Here is the old filter in a garbage bag after it was taken off the poor Connie. I'm not sure if this was even a filter anymore with all that dirt build-up. It looked like the dirt just took a form of the filter, lol

It took me a couple of tries to get that ring to stay over the filter, but I got it!

The Connie came with a bag already inside that didn't feel too full, but I decided that it was just better to throw it away and put a new one on.

No tellin' how old and nasty the other bag was.

I hope I put the new seal on right!

The old one was so bad that it literally crumbled in my hands. I'm not sure if it had been rubber or foam, but I wound up just breaking it off in little pieces to get it off.

Gross.

And finally...

Here she is, all ready to be used once again!

I cannot believe how quiet this vacuum cleaner is! And it works wonderfully in my family room which has nothing but hardwood floors.

Another thing that I was a little surprise with was that it still has its original plug. You know, those bakelite circular plugs? I'm not sure if I should change it out or not, but it fits securely and is not corroded.

Well so far I've used it twice.

Once for a test drive, and the other time for a minor dustbunny attack I was having in the family room thanks to my cats.

I'll be sure to wait and make sure.

I think the seal is on wrong. Turn it over , the wider part should be against the bag collar. Marty

It's in wrong...

Flip it around, so the ruber collar seals with the cardboard collar on the bag..

Lovely just luverly. The quietness was what really surprised me as well when I got my first one, library quiet pretty much. Why all the new junk has to scream I don't understand.
