I have a Kenmore dryer model 110.63102101. Its been a good dryer but it has developed this issue where when I start it to run a load, it will go through the cycle but wont heat. If I start it again, it heats up. There are no air fluff cycles on it...temp is determined by the cycle you select...the Automatic cycle operates on low heat. Timed on high...and the dryer does this no matter which cycle I use. What could be the issue here

Is your dryer gas or electric. I have the same issue with my gas dryer and I needed to replace the coil valves. Part cost $100 for my dryer. The parts should be here tomorrow.

Its an electric dryer. Like I said, it does it when I first turn it on...timer goes through the cycle and the dryer shuts off....cold wet clothes....everything is clean on it...back, vent, the whole bit so I know thats not it. When I turn it on again, then it heats up and dries

Which is why I said it is probably the timer, unless you have a loose/burned wire that is connecting intermittently. Even a high limit thermostat might do that too.
