Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Freddie,

I had a large Litton meal-in-one microwave from 1979. It had a ceramic bottom, and I still have the vitro-ceramic searing grill. It still worked perfectly when I gave it away in the late 90's. It was not electronic, but had knobs for timer, and cook power.

Yes of course I use it on poultry also.
Wings and so forth.
And fried chicken , naturally.
I actually have hard times getting shortening to fry over here because something like shortening just doesn't exist.
I had a 12 can box delivered 1 year ago...
If I miss shortening I typically use pork lard, frying in lard is so special compared to frying in corn or sunflower seeds oil, fries also comes out very special.
In the winter time when I fry typically put a pan on the stove since it goes 24/7 but in the summertime and also outside I often use my Sunbeam vintage deep fryer.

By the way I also use some old bay when I make agnolotti filling!!!

Is heresy. Down here in the South it’s Zatarains all the way.

Love your kitchen—especially the wood stove. It’s cool to see one made for cooking with modern style. Does it have a cooktop or oven only? Would love to see more zoomed out (is that the right word?) pictures of your stoves and kitchen.
