what year did Maytag start making the fabric matic with perm press? the timer dial is starting to get pretty shabby, Is the an older timer dial i could use on my machine. the brown and orange is getting kinds old. thx Mike

my washer was manf in April of 1977 and it has a perm press cycle on it.
