This post is really for Freddy, as he's been looking for Mexican Mr.Clean, but, I guess it was more "fun-spirited" in my mind just to make a whole new thread about it.

I was really looking for just Maestro Limpio, but, I saw the Liquid bottles of Ariel, and I really liked the blue bottle a lot, so I wanted to try the Purple One. Plus, P&G had sent me this Military Coupon savings book with $2 off, so, it was only $4.99 :)

I also picked up another box of Electrasol Tabs. This store has a ton of these (at least 20) on the shelf, and according to a manager, even more in the back. I've bought a box before, and it's wasn't deteriorated or anything, they just cause massive etching to glassware though.. However, I sorta overlook this by simply not washing glassware, and JUST heavily soiled things.

Oh yeah.. and I had $1.25 coupon for those.

I finally found the Mr.Clean (Maestro Limpio) in both Powder & Liquid Form, so I just grabbed both.

I honestly can't wait to go back.. they carry so many cool things :)

YEPPPP This is really interesting! So you can find the Maestro Limpio in your store! Do you have just this scent, floral right? or you have also the lemon one? (should be the green one)?
If yes could you ship some to me over here???
I will pay of course everything...*
I miss to try that one, I'm actually planning a detergent swap with Carl and I have to hear if he managed to find it in Memphis...
If not I would ask you if youn could ship to me some...
That would be so wonderful to try it out.
Thank you!

The liquid maestro limpio I think is for floors and general use on hard surfaces only though....
Powder is meant for laundry and general household cleaning, like many powders sold in Mexico still are, and like used to be in the past in USA, old boxes of Tide and many others had instructions for others household uses in the past, for floors, dishes etc, few powders are still reporting other uses still today, like the SUN in small boxes...
Many institutional packages of ALL, Ajax and Tide still report their powders being good for floors cleaning and general cleaning...
Think pretty much of powders today are actually good for these alternative uses, they just want to sell more alternative products for each purpose, no one says you cant wash your greasy sink with some Tide or have dishes done with it also....

Well. Freddy, If you'd be interested, I'd love to swap some (Maestro Limpio) for some detergent you guys have.

Also, the store I went to only had those scents, however, they have multiple stores in my area, and they have different versions of everything.

This store just happened to be closer to me, but, I'll look for the lemon one :)

That would be great the lemon one! Thank you!
Yes I can swap whatever you wish to try...
Dash, Dixan (persil henkel), Ace (italian one, different than mexican one), Sole, General (Henkel), Bio Presto (Henkel).
If you think of something specific just let me know.
Just type "detersivo lavatrice" on google images and look what cach you more and I'll see to get it for you.
Thank you.

Ok
Dash is a good choiche, it is famous for it's particular aroma, all the ones that tried it were happy with it.

Also Dixan is good, it does have a fresh scent, both are the best rated over here.
But Dash wins probably...
So would you like the regualar/original formula of them?
This is the one I prefer for both, even though Dixan lavender is so nice also.

I'm looking for the newer Dash with Actlift (I hear, it's like the American Tide with Actlift we have here). I've actually never used it before, but, I've always wanted to.

Dixan, is just curiously to me. I mean, everyone seems to love Persil, but, Idk, I think, I just wanna try Dash more.

Is Dash low sudsing? It's fine if it's not, but, it'd be better for me :)

P.S I did read about the Finish Electrasol, why you say it cause etching?
We have Finish also over here, and it's the 1st one then comes Fairy which is actually Cascade but in caps only...no powders for europe.
Of finish I pretty like and prefer the powder form than regular powerball tabs or Quantum (I pretty hate Quantums), also the yellow lemon liquid is very good, I love it's lemon scent mixed with it's note of bleach, I like it and works very good, is one of the last gels containing real bleach in it, others new concentrated gels from finish sucks, looks like just thick water...does not even cut grease...
Can't you find anymore the powerball Electrasol Finish in USA? I thought it was still sold uder the name of Finish...but being the same thing..

Yes in europe all the detergents for automatics are low sudsing, because of the majority of machines being front loaders historically, so ALL automatic powders are low suds, but good for hand and machine wash...
If you want a normal sudsing you might look for Handwash or twin tub/top loader powders....
But are few since all powders are polivalent for every machine and every use, machine and handwash as I said...
Personally yes, I like Dash more than Persil Dixan... and yes all Dash versions now have Actilift since 2 years or so.. so of course I'll get one with it...
And scent is really different than tide, it also have blue beads in it, Tide does not have, so a different formula and thing than Tide.

Also liquid Dash is different than Tide liquid, Scent is less sweet and a bit more "sour", then liquid is cluddy blue than the transparent blue of Tide.
Dash is very different than Tide, another thing totally.
The only similarity I found in an Italian detergent with an american one is with the Bolt and German Dash that actually is the Bolt here but in germany it calls Dash (Yep a mess)! That does have the same scent of Gain, even though like Dash Bolt is enriched with colored beads, depending on the scent..

I have very, very soft water (naturally, no softener) (1-2GPG) and for some reason, when I use Powerball, the glasses come out of the dishwasher with scratches all over them.

It's something Cascade never, ever does. Honestly, it's very disappointing for me, as I'd love to really use there stuff. Consumer Reports gives them really good ratings, and I've seen there power, at my MIL's house.

And no, Electrasol is not made anymore here. The Makers of Finish, ripped the Name away just in time for the Phosphate Free Rollout (My guess, to protect there image of there previous brand). Select boxes with Phosphate do have the old Electrasol logo on them, but the Phosphate Free's have the logo completely removed :(

We do still have Powerball here, & Quantum. But I hate the Powerballs because of there etching. Finish Qunatum is pretty good, but, I don't care for the Plastic casing it has (those clog dishwasher pumps overtime)

Cascade used to be the brand EVERYONE used. In Fact, there commercials said "Americans Number One Choice by over 2 to 1", but now, Finish is Touting Themselves as reccomanded by more dishwasher brands (paid marketing agreements) and they've taken over the market share.

Sadly, during the Phosphate Free mess. P&G's most popular Product, Cascade Gel (Chlorine Bleach) really, did horribly without it's main ingredient. Not only that, but there Cascade Powder, horribly suffered with almost no Enzymes, and Washing Soda as it's main ingrident. Plus, there TOL product "Cascade Complete Action Pacs" couldn't do anything, to dissolve food, and left glasses looking like crap, in moderately hard water.

P&G has solved & improved there Cascade Formulations very well, however, Finish already had stuff that worked back in July, and took the chance and ran with it, and no one wants to switch back..

I think there slowly working there way back to the Top, with there Platinum & Complete Formulations and there Advertising. But, I think, Finish has a special place, as the challenger brand that finally became the top dog :)

Anyhow. I honestly don't care for the Finish Formulations (due to Etching), however, I'd be very intrested to try Finish Qunatum Gel, or Somat Perfect Gel.

I know and I agree no one can beat Cascade powders, I recently purchase a stock of VTG Cascade from USA and another box of newer Cascade and I can say are the number 1 for me as well now.
Too bad they does not sell Fairy Powder (cascade) over here, it would become the number 1.
Glad they fixed their new formulas. I think the Cascade is great.

Regarding phosphates in our finish, well, I find it quite interesting, we still have a tolerance of phosphates in detergents for dishwashers, my finish bag I got for Carl do state 15-30% phosphates (Phosphorus=max 6%), so are not completely gone from our Finish stuff.
That's interesting that in American Finish stuff is gone...
What a stupid law then...all these messes...better I don't say anything..
Anyway...I tried the Quantum Gel and it sucks IMO like the rest of new Concentrated gels of finish...

VTG? I really didn't get that term.

The Newer Cascade Powders (Phosphate Free) Work Good. The Complete Powder does a really good job, since it's packed with Enzymes plus, it has a Surfantant that doubles as a rinse aid. So your glasses come out all Sparkling :)

The Packets themselves also do a amazing job. The Platinum & Complete Pacs, do a really good job at dissolving starchy, dried on food. Plus, they have Oxygen Bleach built into them, so your Tupperware comes out very clean, every time :)

I myself. Use Cascade Complete Powder (with 6.9 Phosphate) It's my Favorite, and I like to play around and rotate the use of Complete & Platinum Tablets.

As for Dash. I've always thought of it, as the German Green Bottle. I've never actually seen the Liquid itself, or tried it, so I have no idea how it smells, or what to expect.

I'm just really excited. I mean.. I've always wanted to try it :)

Also, Sad to hear you didn't like the Quantum Gel :(

It's really cool though, that they let you guys have Phosphate. Here, we haven't had Phosphates in Domestic Laundry detergent since 1993, and Dishwasher Detergent since Summer 2013.

Commercial Use is allowed 8.7 Phosphate, and Commercial Dishwasher Detergent allows 8.7 phosphate, too. (Because things have to be as clean & sanitary as possible)

I blame environmentalists, who don't understand average consumers. They don't understand what there doing, or how there destroying stuff we, as people, rely upon. I won't continue on, off topic. But it deeply upsets me thinking about it.

VTG stand for Vintage, I found some old Cascade packages with the old Logo and product from a left over stock of a closed shop....
Regarding Dash, the German one is a totally different thing than the italian one, the German one is the one that in Italy is sold as "Bolt", initially Bolt was born as a detergent with softener included, so same for was the Dash sold In Germany of course...
Then they changed them because I assume it didn't like much, infact old Bolt with softener didn't have much sales.... I remember the firsts formulas of Bolt didn't wash so well and actually the supposed softener action was naught... so you had to use softener anyway...
So all what there was to do was to find an alternative "speciality" for these brands to be continued to be sold, here is that, then they changed the formula, making it a kind of detergent Similar to what is Gain in USA that is, a detergent supposed to leave clothes parfumed for long and having awesome different scents... actually washing very well too...
You can infact notice how the green packaging and Logo of German Dash and Italian Bolt resembles the one of Gain, also websites are similar to the Gain one : " www Ilovegain.com", for italian Bolt is: "www:Ilove bolt.it"....
The German Dash is now the same thing of Bolt in Italy, and is actually comparable to the american Gain talking about type of product, scent of Bolt "Sprazzi D'estate" (Which is the main scent) is identical to the one of Gain Original.... I also tried some German Dash supposed to be lemon scent, but it actually was just like the Original Gain and Bolt Sprazzi d'estate, it didn't have nothing of lemony...
Dash is a brand pretty much present in many european countries, it just changes formula and peculiarities from country to country..
In some european countries Dash (Dash 2 in 1) is still present with the old formula of Bolt plus softener that was sold in Italy initially as the brand came out, this kind of Dash is sold with the name of Dash 2in1 and do have another different Logo than regualar/original Dash and German Dash (Gain) in green packaging...
The regualar/original Dash is just the one with the black or Blue Logo...
Here in Italy Dash is present since the early 60s and since then is the Best seller... it replaced the Tide in 60s that was removed from market some years later as it became unsealable because of a wrong advertising and misuse of words (if you wish I can tell you the whole story). The Dash very likely came initially with the same formula of American Dash that used to be quite famous in USA in the 60s, detergent from P&G specifically meant to be used in automatics, front loaders because of it's low sudsing formula, maybe first P&G low suds product, so differently than USA where for some reasons it was removed from market, it indeed found a good market over here because in the mid 60s and 70s the automatic machines that were coming were mostly front loaders....
So probably if in USA there would still be the Dash it probably would be the same Dash that is sold here now..
Anyway Dash is totally another thing that Tide talking about formula... if you say that Dash is the 1st just as Tide is in USA well that would be probably correct, but compare Tide to Dash is impossible, they're different things...
But I think every detergent that is made by P&G worldwide do have a "Tide based formula" in them, it is the first and main detergent the company made and still make, the mother and father of all laundry detergents of P&G... but everyone is special on it's own...

It's funny how you mention Bolt. Here in the US, P&G brought us "Bold" Laundry Detergent, with Fabric Softener. I really don't know much about it, But there packaging hasn't been changed in years, and they have it at Lowes stores.

I do also think P&G copies formulas, from each others product lines. I mean, that Act-Lift thing is in Ariel, Tide, & Dash. Tide itself is pretty good, but, it diffidently has it struggles on some stains, which I'm sure, do better in other detergents.

I'm honestly just really curious, to see the Italian Dash & German Dash, together. I'm thinking I'd like the German one more, because it's more scented, (and I can never smell anything, after everything's out of the dryer).

Freddy. Does Italian Laundry Detergent have the Beloved Phosphates? :)

You'd be surprised indeed at how the Italian Dash smell...it does have a more pungent aroma than Gain and you can perceive it more...
Did you ever tried Gain? Well I told you German Dash and Bolt is the same scent of Gain...trust me.... you would not try anything different regarding the scent with it...
Actually of Bolt the weird and more "scented" are the liquids, they use to have really nauseating weird sweet scent that invades your home while washing and last for days on your clothes, would be good if they were normal scents but are nauseating as much they're sweet...they actually smell more like a kind of cheap perfume or strong toilet water, rather than a normal laundry detergent, I hate them..many people do like them though... IMO they smell like a french whore...

Regarding phosphates in laundry detergents, yes some do have them others not, not sure about the Dash... but there is still a small tolerance over here...more for dishwashing products, less for laundry.
Anyway starting from this June I've read, things will change for laundry and dishwashing detergents, some talks about a total elimination, others about tolerance decrease...still unclear.
What I know is that formulas will not change for institutional products...
Anyway they still do have them ....
