No, I do like cats but am terribly allergic to them - hives, sneezing, itchy eyes, the whole bit.
This is actually a beautiful cat - Persian? My grandparents had a Siamese, they are wonderful pets.

Our "Fred The Cat" is a 13 year old blue point and not looking very blue in this pic! When he was younger, he was much more "blue" on his points and white in the other areas. As they age, the color spreads and the white begins to go away.
"Fred The Cat" lost his seal point half brother just over a year ago and went through a bad time as we did too. Shortly after Rikki died, (yes, we had Rikki and Fred the cats!), we acquired, "Max The Bengal Cat". After an adjustment period of about 6 months, the boys have bonded and are very happy after a year together. Max appeared in an earlier thread that featured about 5 or 6 of my Kirbys.
I'm sorry you have alergies to kitties. Since we both fly it was almost impossible to have a dog and kitties became our kids. Several very close friends are alergic to cats and take their pills when they come to visit.
And yes, they are FABULOUS bed warmers and they are awaiting me now. We could not ask for more fabulous children. We feed them, empty their boxes and they love us unconditionally. No braces, college tuition, boyfriend/girlfriend issues--what more could a parent want?
