They most certainly have 3 different racks. The first would be the one found on the now BOL Whirlpools/Amanas, which were the standard racks in the PowerClean. The 2nd would be the standard single level rack, with the angled middle tines, and the little "humps" that are along the sides for the glasses and cups to angle into. The 3rd would be the tiered rack.
I have no clue why she would tell you there is only one rack. I wish they would put more knowledgeable employees on the customer service line. I called recently about the Bravos' drain pump making a terrible loud buzzing noise once the water is mostly pumped out, and her solution was for me to unplug the machine for a few minutes and plug it back in.
