Morning all!
Yesterday I took delivery of a brand new AEG L87680FL Washing machine & T75380AH2 Heatpump tumble dryer!
The washing machine is an 8kg 1600rpm beauty. It features an aquastop anti flood hose the noise of which takes sone getting used too. Also has steam, variable rinses up to 8! 3 levels of time management duvet, anti allergy, jeans and easy iron programmes as well as the usual. It's extremely quiet and handles out of balance loads with ease! I knew what to expect as my parents have a more basic model which is 3 years old.
Now the downfall. I bought this machine on the premise it would have the recirculatory jet. A feature I really wanted. Alas AEG have dropped on all models except the 9kg and 10kg models. They have however upped the water consumption by 20 litres and the sensors are good and I got a decent rinse level the first time I used it.
The dryer! I've been really excited to try the new Heatpump technology and it doesn't disappoint!
Getting used to a tumble dryer that sounds like a fridge will take some getting used to but I'm sure it will become the norm.
The first load I dried in it took about an hour and a half which wasn't attrocious but with Heatpump you compromise speed for efficency. I'm trying out the mixed quick programme as we speak.
No heat selections here, just the drying level from minimum to maximum.
I'm intregued to try the "reverse plus" option which helps with tangling by reversing more often.
Loads of programmes and you can select anti crease up to 90mins
Any questions shoot!
