said lets turn it on and see about it

looks good needs cleaning inside is pristine

now sure about the doors outside got sticky residue on them need to figure out what it is

maybe adhesive

oh model number is TBX14SPGL

may need to see if anything is missing

It's a standard 18 c.f. bread and butter frig from the 90s and no doubt reliable.
As was stated, it looks like you have all the shelves that would have come with this particular model.

As for removing the tape glue/gunk I would try some bug and tar remover from the automotive department and some paper towels. You'll want to change out the towels frequently as they will get gunked up with the residue.
Don't use paint thinner because that could harm the paint.

Have you removed the back to see how dirty it is around the fan?
Have you looked underneath to see how much lint is on the coils hidden on the bottom?
Keeping those areas clean is key to max efficiency.

I hope it works well for you. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Bradfordwhite thankkees for the suggestions

I took the back off and brushed out the coils as best i could

took 30 minutes or more it was FILTHY

fan was clogged coils were clogged

I cannot get all the bottom coils cleaned as the way the coils and the drip pan makes it impossible to get to the back section of the coils

But i did get all the dirt off I could get too

I'm surprised it still runs with all that gunge in the works

oh and i think the front kickpanel is missing I think

there is 2 big openings in the bottom

and hopefully I have plenty of airspace around it as it is smaller there is space around it on all sides

Some people with these refrigs with the coil under the frig have found that having a vacuum extension tool works well to easily clean under the frig and possibly in-between the coils

Cleaning a fan forest refrigerators condenser

Best thing to do is to take it outside and hit it with a powerful garden hose to get all the dust out from under it.

It doesn’t hurt to clean them every 20 or 30 years, in reality it won’t make it work any better unless you run it in a very hot un air-conditioned home, these refrigerators were designed to work in normal situations with a very dirty condenser most people never clean them.

I don’t think this model has a grill on it.

John.

Some of these models the drip pan is removable. One simply lifts the front edge and pull it out the front. Then it's easy to clean and access the coils.

According to parts suppliers this has the mounted drip pan that probably has a couple of screws that hold it in place.

And yes, there is a clip on front grill. Don't know if one can still buy it.
