Like the range!  You certainly got a lot in a small space!

The LK dryer is from '73. I have it's gold twin in storage.  Mine is gas, if anyone in the area is interested  I might be willing to part with it.

Oh, Hans, I love that range (the whole room, really!). And I'm not a gas range kind of guy, with the exception of canning. I have a Universal range in the basement just for that purpose.

But, wonder of wonders, that quarter-round cabinet took my breath. I'm always impressed at your collections.

Hans!! Just beautiful! What fun your laundry room is...I could spend hours in there cookin' and washin' away!! That range looks like a real workhorse - always nice to have a gas range at hand when the power goes out!

Gotta tell you that I'm loving the crepe curtains - such great style!

Thanks for sharing!

That's one of my all time favorite vintage ranges.

Our 2008 Electrolux Icon has a pair of kick-ass front burners that are similar to the Harper "Speed and Simmer" system in their design, and I use the adjustable center flame for simmering quite often.

I HOPE!

I can find a smaller range for that space, I have found a turquoise one ..but have not gotten the details ironed out, if I do replace it it will be available...Until then im going to use it, as it really does work well.

Lyon steel cabinets

Hans, those cabinets are like the ones I tore out of my kitchen. I have them all in storage except for the sink front, which was not in good condition. They were put in when the house was built in 1952. Only trouble we had with them was a couple of the latches started to stick.

Those steel cabinets may have saved the house from major fire damage in 1973. I was home by myself one Summer afternoon, and decided to cook some French Fries, saw my neighbor Carol on her porch, and went out to talk to her. The grease caught fire and by the time I got back over and put the fire out, $5000 of smoke damage had been done. Nothing else burned except the food. Have had two friends with wood cabinets that had grease fires, and the cabinets caught fire. One had to replace 4 or 5 wall cabinets and the hood, the other had to re-do the entire inside, and part of the outside, of their house.

I remember those gas ranges with the very cool viewing window. I cleaned up several of those that came in as trade-ins for resale, most of them were filthy. You could not see through that window. Gas ranges were the worst. I used to go home smelling like Easy Off but I was only 13 and the pay was much better than a paper route. That Okeefe & Merritt stove looks beautiful. Years later when that brand became "cheap" like Wedgewood and the rest they were referred to as "all grief & no merit." Your mixer collection is wonderful.
