My second washing machine

You all knew that I was going to buy a second machine next to my new aeg. Well, today she was delivered it is a miele w 1059 expert in perfect condition with a 1200 rpm spin speed.
I don't know the age but i guess it's pretty old as it doesn't distribute/balance before spinning.

That washer must be from about 1985 as it is similar to the Miele W765 washer that I bought new in 1985.

Interesting to see a shop name printed on the detergent drawer. Never seen that before.

Oh, and I still have the matching dryer, bought new in 1983.

do agree with Mielabor : it's 1983/85ish. When we bought the W780 there were similar machines on the catalogue (see link to old thread)

"Our" W772 was a W759 with a "hidden" door (freestanding model fitted with frames to match cabinets)

Me too have never seen a Miele with a store badge. Here Expert put its badge on Aeg , Smeg and was the only store that sold Zanussies with the "Zanussi" badge instead of the local "REX" one

I have an Expert dealer nearby so I had seen them before. There were also later series (I remember a 5000 model with touch buttons) but much to my own surprise I don't have any pictures.
