Your poor missus must be knackered. It is fine that your son was born ten days before Christmas.

I know one or two folk who were born closer to Christmas, and they always felt as though they missed out on the pressie front.

Of course you can sit him in front of your machine and get him started at a young age.

p.s my mother has a small newspaper cutting which sits in my childhood photo album, alongside a picture of me crouched down beside an Indesit L6, that my dad repaired for an aunt of mine.

The most happy of days are when babies come into the world. There is nothing like the feeling of knowing a little bit of you will now go on.

Oh the joys that await you! Your lives will never be the same, but even though at times you may think otherwise (and trust me, you will *LOL*), there is NOTHING like having children.

Cherish those early days, they grow like weeds, and before you know it too.

Once again, congrats! What a splendid Christmas present.
