Regarding the Mixmaster Juniors in your collection
On the ones where the handles match the body color, are they painted to match, or are they molded in the correct color. I've never seen one like that up close before so it's something I've wondered about. I recently discovered that I have a second one in white with a really beat up finish on it, so I'd like to strip it down and refinish it in a light yellow or perhaps a pistachio. Would it be correct to leave the handle black?

Handle Colors..
The handles on the mixmaster juniors are black, on the mixers that are white, chrome or copper, but are color matched on turquoise , pink or yellow.

I've wondered about that for some time now, and even tried looking for answers on the internet with no luck at all. That's quite a collection you have there, and with all the different colors the mixers are as festive as the lights.

Another great find
I found a Sunbeam Mixmaster Model 9 at Goodwill for $8. Fairly good shape with beaters. No bowls though. I thought the Model 11 bowls would fit. I have two sets of them, but they won't fit. I guess it has something to do with the bowl spindle. It is very different for this model. Oh well, I guess I am on another mission. It appears the bowl would have to be more shallow on this mixer. BTW, I can't believe how much quieter and smoother the 9 is over the 11 especially after a good oiling.
