Videos should be soon!!!!!!!

Hi Peter! How are you? ill make some videos for you tomorow, unfortunatley they will have to be about as short as the one on my site sorry! It seems thats the only way i can up load them, but what i will do is make at least 2 videos of the wash, 2 of the rinse and some of the distribution ans spining is that okay. They should be on my site by at least tuesday, Hopefully even earlier monday. Hope to hear from you soon. Bye

Richard

Remember by Tomorrow....

Hi Richard, how are you doing? I will hope to get the video ready by tomorrow....thanks!

What a stylish machine! Can you give some specs on it like water temps, spin speeds, etc.? When shopping, I saw a Samsung refrigerator and noticed it's sharp styling too.

Thanx for your comments!!!!

Hi, im Richard, thank you for your pleasant comments about my Samsung. ill give you the types of prigrams it has and the temp's on them and also spin speed:

Cottons- temp- cold- 95oc , spin speed 400,800,1000,1200 max.

Colureds - temp: cold- 60c spin speed same as above

Delicates- temp: cold - 40c maxx spin speed 800

synthetics temp- cold-60c maxx spin 600

woolens - temp- cold - 40c maxx speed 400

Handwash- same as above

quick wash- cold-60c spin speed 1200

Sensitive skin, Staines- cold-95c

sensitive skin delicates- o-40c

coloured 0-60c

cottons- 0-95c

So as you can see this washing machine is very flexible and has many programs, the sensitive skin programs come in very handy! All programs can be set from 1 rinse all the way up to 5!! which i think is great. On normal cycles (coloureds cottons) the water level fills to the rim of the drum!!!!!, this is same for all the senstive skin programs, however the rinse water is alot deeper! Any other questions you have, dont hessitate to ask!!!! Im not sure if youve looked on my site, but here it is anyway, its filled with pictures and videos of my Samsung! Have a look at the picture of the paddles and tell me what you think!

Bye for now

Richard

Richard, your machine is not only stylish, but very well appointed too. I like the 95c wash temp and the high rinse level. I had an ASKO which also did both, and whites came out beautiful. That machine, however was terribly unreliable. If it weren't, I would have never got rid of it (when it worked it worked really well). I went looking at Miele and Bosch. Here for the price of a Miele washer alone, I could get the Bosch washer and dryer, so at the time, I opted for the Bosch pair. They are very nice machines, but the washer only heats to 165f and while not bad, 165f vs 205f is noticeable with whites. My Bosch is also 6kg capacity, which does hold a lot and still do a great job. The back of your tub looks like mine, but those paddles are a unique shape...do they move laundry in a different pattern? Of all the modern appliances, I love the FL washer, but today for fun I used my 1954 Maytag wringer washer haha. :) Joe

Your Video

Hi Richard, how are you doing? I'm back to the post...I forgive you! OK.

Thanx for your comments!!!

Hiya Joe, thanx so much for your comments, and yes, the paddles move the clothes in a different way, its hard to explain, they bring the clothes all the way to the top of the drum to avoid them from rolling up together, they also shower water down onto clothing very well, (did you see that pic) also they keep the clothes moving in a forward direction. I had a bosch maxx before this Samsung! our bosch was very tempermental, in the end i put it out of its own misery and broke it myself! what model is ur bosch, Exxel, Axxis...? Just wondering, is there any pictures you want me 2 take of my samsung or videos, (ill be very happy to)

Bye for now

Richard

Richard, my Bosch is the Axxis 2460. Your pictures are great. I was looking at front loaders available in Europe and is the Hoover similar styling to the Samsung? And what do you know about the Dyson? That looks quite unique! I also saw a brand named Gorenje...is that a good one? I think it said it has a spin speed of 1800rpm! I miss the 1600rpm of my ASKO...things were almost dry when they came out...I can't imagine 1800rpm. Joe

hey joe, i know you asked richard but i like to but in, in my opinion the samsung styling is nothing like hoover's styling, dyson no longer produce their fantastic contorotator washing machine as they were not selling enough of them to make a profit. Gorenje as far as I know are a half decent brand they have a model that spins at 2000rpm although this does come at a hefty £650, personally for £650 i would go for a miele

£650 is about $1,137

Ciao for now

washboy2005

Thanks for the info..too bad about the Dyson...that looked like a cool machine, I was hoping to see it here in person. I agree about the Miele....I believe that is a nice machine, but 2000rpm wow!

Samsung Machines Now at Lowes

Hope this is a good fit here. I had seen a post about Lowes now having Samsung in stock, but it must have slid off. Any case, yesterday, I went to Lowes to just review the current stock.

Two big additions: they now have the new Frigidaire FL in stock (ones with heaters) and they now have Samsung front loaders in stock too.

Interesting, they have two different sizes. There is the mega size (3.79) and another medium size (3.4, I believe). I found it curious that they did not use the same drum as they use for the Maytag Neptune (3.81). I guess I should not make any assumption. The paddles certainly look different, so I guess they could be using the same drum and have different capacity based on the paddles used.

Two observations, first observation: machine has an interesting hand grip for the detergent drawer. You can clearly see the place for your hand grip. You take your hand and slide into that area and then the cover slide away, allowing your hand to go into the grip area.

Other observation: both machines have some new type of cleaning system (silver something). I don't know much about it but I am certain that we will be hearing more about it. LG now has a steam system and Samsung has this new system.

Any case, it is a interesting time to stroll through the applicance sections of stores if you haven't done so for some time. In addition to the new Frigidare fl and the Samsungs, you will see that LG has come out with a new mega machine (4.) that has a steam function. You wouldn't be able to see it at Lowes (you can see it at Best Buy, Home Depot or Frys).

Department Store

Hello Richard, how are you doing?

Before I went to Best Buy in Paramus, NJ at Fashion Center Mall (next to Applebee's Restaurant)....I saw a newest Samsung Front load washer & dryer like "LG" (it's color champagne tan).
