Mysterious Drain Pump Housing?

I got another one...
At first I thought it was a gear housing for a wringer, but then I saw the tube hole and a spot for an impeller.
It is cast iron with a removable brass flange and cork seal.

Perhaps a drain pump housing for an ancient or commercial washer or dishwasher?

I think this is for a Kitchenaid KD-10P separate electric drain pump.
