You are BOTH correct. Cooking relaxes me. Besides, my motto was "Noboby leaves here with their hole unsatisfied". Luckily I have the equipment to oblige. TONS of cookware and four stoves as we speak. There are TWO kitchens in this house now. And even losing half in my divorce, I've still got plenty.

I WILL RESIST.
I WILL RESIST.
I WILL RESIST.

I agree ...

Resistence is futile!!!!!

LOL, I have to admit, it's a beautiful range and oven. (It's one more reason why I regret living in an apartment and not a house. Darn expensive region that I live in! (Sigh))

That is a beautiful set, I would personally choose another cooktop though. Those heavy Radiantubes are a bit slower to heat and respond to temperature changes that smaller coils as found on a GE. Having only one (smallish) oven might be a drawback for a proficient cook as well.

Is this helping?

As If I'm one to try and talk anyone OUT of something... I'm picking this up in Denver next weekend. In preparation for the drive out, I had to get XM Satellite Radio and may buy a personal DVD player for Skyler to use on the trip. Never mind, forget I said anything - too bad there's no Buy It Now option for you, they'll look lovely in your kitchen!

I'll stick with my stainless GE P-7 wall oven, but the Frigi wall oven is adorable.

I'd pass on the cooktop too, though. Gas is best. LOL. I have those big flat coils on my F-GM Compact 30. I actually like them, for electric. The biggest problem has been a faulty burner control (no heat below med hi), warped element supports (which I have beat back into shape), and missing original drip pans. The originals are supposed to be aluminum, and my local appliance parts shop was able to locate OEM replacements, but at about $25 to $50 each I hesitated. Instead I found some GE style black porcelain drip pans that work well enough (the chrome plated ones rust out way too fast). The originals, however, are deeper than the usual replacements, so they aren't entirely right either.
