My roommate and I just got a washer for free, after our other washer stopped responding (but that's a different story.) We're trying to identify what kind of washer this is, but searching the model and serial number is coming up completely blank. We'd just like to have the year, if possible, and a manual. It runs pretty well, but one of the hoses was split, and we don't know what else could be wrong.

I thought the "laser line" design on the control pan

was later than that.  We had a similar washer - more MOL than that one we purchased in 89 or 90 and it had the same design control panel.   The TOL set my brother bought in 86 had the older design (orange lettering and the words "General Electric" instead of just the meatball  (pardon me, "Monogram").

I would guess by looking late 80s early 90s but I don't have a special decoder ring so I will respectfully defer to Ken.  :-)

The last of the Filter-flo models. As Nate stated, 1993, and 1994 was the last year so it could only be between 93-94.

It probably has a rim flow filter, instead of the traditional filter pan.

Yes, rather basic. This is no doubt a one speed motor.

Best of luck to you. The fact that it's made it all this time is a good sign.

Can you publish a picture of the inside, with the lid up?

Thanks

I stand corrected. And before I posted I wondered 81 or 93. I didn't remember that they didn't change over to the next design until 95.
