Do you have a photo of the control panel you can post?

Aside from that, based on the model number, they are both 1970 models.   If Gordon (Kenmoreguy64) jumps in, he will tell you when (month and year) they were built.

Hi!

Both machines were built in 1969. Washer in the 50th week, and the dryer in the 43rd.

We'd love to see more pics - there seems to be a lot if 1972 Lady Ks, but not as many 70s and 71s.

parts and stuff

Can any one point me in a direction for getting parts new and used for this washer and dryer and what ( if any) kind of paint for touch up or repainting these I'm a very good painter just don't know about this color I probly won't fool with it just curious thanks

We had one growing up. It was my grandmothers giving to use in about 1979. So I would say she must have got it around 1972 but I could be wrong.

We used it till around 1986 when a sears guy put a new belt on it to thigh and burnt out the motor. I so got in trouble over this was see them fun looking buttons. My mom went to the store or something and told me to not touch it it. Well I just had to push push push. lol

as of two weeks ago

As of two weeks ago they were still being used as a regular set ...I'm going to check them out soon and see what I can see I'll be able to tell if any work has been done and I'm sure some work has been done.. and if so if the work and or parts were done as they should clean them up and do any little things that I see fit then sell em or maybe keep them if I get attached lol

@ Marv

If you scroll down a little further on this board, someone named "JBTipton" is said to be parting out a 1969-70 Lady Kenmore Washer (which is exactly the same model as your washer). He's getting rid of his because I understand the outer tub has rusted out and it is leaking, and he cannot seem to get the Vari-Flex Agitator out of the washer without breaking it.

If you and "JBTipton" get together, he may have the parts that you need to keep your Lady Kenmore in great working condition.

Good Luck....
