Propane unit was installed two years ago and has been running great, until last week when the it started putting out only 10 minutes of hot water (usually we get at least 45 minutes, even in winter). We flushed the unit and it was clean, no sediment.
So we're 99% sure the dip tube has broken. It's got a 6-year warranty but Rheem is giving us the runaround. We found a few dip tubes for sale online, but we'd like to know Rheem's part# to look for, and whether our model is one that requires a hole saw to fix.
As always, info and help are greatly appreciated!
