NEED PARTS HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well apperently we discovered that this house was a custom house.

Anyway we need parts for a 1952 green standard toilet. my clumsey dad dropped the lid and broke the corner and we have not been able to find a replacement lid!!! so wed really appriciate if you could help us!!!!!!!!

It'll be be a bitch finding a lid, might be better off just buying a new toilet. What brand is it? Company may still be around. Look inside tak for a style number.

Comp, I think your parents best bet is to try an old house recycler in your area. If you cannot find the exact tank lid,perhaps you can at least find a whole toilet the same color of green as your bathtub/shower and the sink/vanity. I did not know they used green bath fixtures in the 1950's. I thought that green was a 1970's thing.

Oh yes

We had one bath with those green fixtures-not a great deal different from the sherwood green color of Frigidaires in this period. I always liked colored fixtures.

The house in which I grew up, built in 1964, had a lilac sink, toilet and tub. Special order by my mother. The plumbing outfit had trouble finding one, but she insisted.

We have checked a store that sells parts for sinks toulets etc. but we could only find a 58 lid and it wouldnt fit :-(
