I was trying to say what Yogi told you. I'm not in the repair field. Sorriest thing we did was let that '95 Maytag dependable care fabric-matic go. Older is better, older is more.

Congrats on locating and fixing your small issue.....

you would be surprised how many people would have thrown a machine out over a tiny leak.....only to discover it was something so simple...

can be a bit puzzling at times, as you have discovered, a clamp was missing, especially if you didn't know one belonged there....

you may have this all back together, but not a bad time to consider if there are any other clamps rusted/missing, or hoses needing replaced...maybe the belts...a little preventative goes a long way....

check and clean your dryer vent as well....
