Your MAH300AWW probable performs similarly to the MAH7500AWW. On the MAH7500AWW the Max Extract option works on every cycle. It increases the speed and/or time of the final spin, but there is a maximum spin speed that corresponds to the cycle (i.e. the Max Extract spin on the Cotton/Sturdy cycle is 1000 R.P.M., but only 810 R.P.M. on the Wrinkle Free cycle (Easy Care/Perm Press cycle).
Cycles also perform differently depending on fabric selection. The tumble pattern is slightly different on the Cotton/Sturdy and Wrinkle Free cycles. And on the Cotton cycle the washer fills and tumbles as soon as the door locks (30 sec. after the cycle is started), but on the Wrinkle Free cycle the washer only tumbles when the water level is satisfied. The Wrinkle Free cycle does not fill and tumble at the same time. If the machine adds water during the wash (the clothes absorb the water and the water level is no longer satisfied) the machine adds it and tumbles on the Cotton cycle, but the tumbling stops to add the water on the Wrinkle Free cycle and resumes when the water level is satisfied. The machine usually adds water on the Wrinkle Free cycle, but only adds it to the Cotton/Sturdy cycle during heavy loads due to this process. The Delicate cycle only tumbles ever 30 seconds, and the Hand Wash cycle only tumbles every minute. The intermediate spins are the same in the Cotton/Sturdy, Wrinkle Free, and Delicate cycles [1st 2 spins are short at 100 R.P.M. (1st 3 if extra rinse is selected), and the 3rd is short at 470 R.P.M (4th if extra rinse is selected), but there are no intermediate spins in the Hand Wash cycle.
When Quick 5 min. Wash is selected, the machine seems to override the tumble pattern selected (i.e. Wrinkle Free, Delicate or Hand Wash) and it tumbles more like the Cotton/Sturdy cycle in the wash and rinses, but the spin seems to remain as selected (i.e. no intermediate spin when using Hand Wash, and a maximum final spin of 810 R.P.M. when using Wrinkle Free). The rinse time is reduced to about 2 minutes once the water level is reached.
The machine has 2 automatic water levels. A wash and rinse water level. The rinse water level is higher.
