No the roll out basis disappears under the oven. So there is only one shelf in the Siemens oven. It can be put in four positions. What's so special about about that second cooker is the two knobs for the oven. I had never seen that before, at least not overhere. One knob is for the settings oven and grill and the other one is the thermostat, so there must be two valves in one gas line.

Slide in's, variety, etc.

I bought my GE profile dual fuel slide in from Home Depot. It's a great range.
All the rage today is over induction cook tops. Yes, they are more efficient.
But by how much after you figure in the added cost?
The next series up from mine is the Cafe', which is listed as a free standing model, even though it's controls are still at the front. It has stainless steel sides, where as mine has no sides. It has black metal flanges to hide what the cabinet sides do not hide. Heat was not an issue with my grade of cabinets.
I tiled in a design feature in the backsplash behind the range of solid bone and ivory color polished travertine 4 inch by 4 inch on a 45 degree angle from the rest of it, which is tumbled travertine in earthy colors bordered by an accent strip of small square tiles of glass, marble, in grey's, tans, and stainless steel.
