Interesting how they split the range to make it a 14-speed. Aside from that, this is the same model and same color as the one I grew up with. Ours was probably a 10-speed. -Cory
 
Great blender

I have a 16 speed that I bought new 30+ years ago. Only issue I have ever had is if you don't use for a while the blades will freeze. This is easily prevented by putting a drop or so of cooking oil on the bearing after washing.

I never put mine in the DW. Hand wash only. I even have a few mini-blendy jars.
 
After washing you should run the blender for 20 or 30 seconds to "get the water out" Fortunately replacement blades are still available for these online and in some hardware stores. There's even an "ice crushing" blade and a milkshake blade available
