Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Great videos and informative post, thanks. I hope your Candy provides many years pleasurable use. I like the fact that Candys self adjust themselves according to the load. Very much like my Zanussi which adapts the wash time, rinse drum speed and water levels according to the load.

I like the Evo machines with the jet wash.

Hottiecrazy or Candycrazy?

Hi Hottiecrazy, I know what you mean about the Evo range... as far as their washing machines go, some models are not basic, although they don't seem to feature the whisper quiet option (invertor motor) like Hoover does or even your previous Hottie (which I've seen on your vids - btw what happened to it?).

I absolutely adore those Evo machines and I might very well get 1 as soon as my current washer throws a wobbly. My real disappointment comes from their dishwashers, there's only 1 model from the Evo range and it's rather basic.

The hotpoint

I sold it it just wasn't right for me the wash results are quite poor plus you use more detergent with it being such a big load plus took me ages to fill it my candy is just the right size.
I've seen the evo with a silent motor somewhere....

one thing to note: all hoover and candy dryers are now fitted with a frost protection sistem that stops the dryer from starting in under 8*c temperatures, GIAS (hoover/candy service force) recomend putting a jug of hot water in the drum to warm the sensor's up to get it to work, alternativley you could use a hot water bottle or you could take the filter out and either put your hand on the sensor for 10 secs or use a hair dryer on a warm setting to warm it up :)
i should be getting my candy grand'o dryer on the 2nd of Aug so if you havent had yours by then i can let you know what the results of it are like :)
Tom :)

My dryer will be in the kitchen don't know if it will make any difference but my house never gets that low in temp so I'm hoping I'll be fine if it doesn't come by this Friday then it will have to wait until the 6th as I go to cornwall on sat

not on facebook
my candy is vented too lol
they dont acctually have a humidity sensor according to what i was reading on here, they have an exhaust temperature sensor that detects the exhaust air temperature, if a load is dry the exhaust air is hot (i think thats how it works lol)
Tom :)
