I always said I would stop at having 3 cats, but then so many need homes so here is number 4. Her name is Heidi.

...and she has the "M" on her forehead. Looks like a good friend. Take her for a ride in the car every day until she gets comfortable with it. Her Vet will be amazed at how mellow she is during checkups.

Had a rental in the south Bronx a few streets off university campus. (four rooms with two bedrooms for $190 per month in 1981)

Preferred tenants were students, as the neighborhood was economically distressed.

Anyhoo. The landlord and the superintendent(building manager) kocked on our door to ask if it was we who were bringing in all the girls 24/7. Keeping straight faces, we said no, we believed it was the guys in the next apt.

Three quiet, clean guys with a well-decorated apt and a definite swish in their walk. I mean GET A CLUE!

Not interested in re-doing their hair, nails, clothing, pumps or accessories and I'm not lugging 50 pound (say 20 kilo) bags of concrete up 5 flights of stairs, either.
