New Gas Grill

Hey everyone I thought I would post a few pics of our new gas grill we got at Sears on clearance. It went for originally $1900.00 and we bought it for $479.99. Not bad I say. Now I have to get the gas line put out to get the grill up and running since its a natural gas grill.

super nice grill, and an excelente price....natural gas is sooooo much better, never have to worry about running out, and those heavy pesky gas containers

It's beautiful! I grew up with a natural gas-fired grill, and hate dealing with 20-lb. tanks....but the cost of running a gas line to my patio isn't in the budget right now.

I can almost smell those rib-eyes grilling...

Toggles I also grill veggies on the grill as well not just meat. Luckily our gas line runs near that wall for the dryer so we are going to have that tapped and run out to the grill. The hose it came with is about 9 feet long. I am hoping we get it done this week so i can fire it up. The cast iron end grate is over an infared burner that is supposed to get wicked hot to sear meat and then you transfer it over to the over part of the grill to finish cooking. It supposed to give a restaurant quality crust to the meat....we'll see.

Oh one thing if you notice that the old grill was a Best Buy from Consumer Reports. We have had the old grill for 2 years and its rusting and the burners are corroding. I would bet they never took rusting into account...and where its rusting is supposed to be "stainless steel". This grill is proof enough that in my opinion that CU doesnt have a clue sometimes. They also rated my old Maytag Samsung Neptune washer well and that didnt last either.
