Has anyone seen the new GE electric "Gemini" range? Looks like a Gemini, except the lower oven has a broiler. Looks like a nice range. Also has the porcelain racks inside that are safe for the self-clean cycle. I think I saw it at Sears.

The GE has two broilers, unlike the Gemini gas range. But I don't know if there is a gas version of this oven coming or not, or if the gas unit will have two broilers, or not. My question, though, for those with experience, is how hard is it to remove a 20 pound turkey from the lower oven? I would imagine it's pretty difficult because you have limited leverage. Especially for older folks.

It is probably as tricky as it was to remove a heavy turkey from the over the cooktop ovens of Flairs, Americannas and similar ranges, except then you were trying to control the landing and with the new configuration you are trying to achieve a lift off. Maybe one person per side of the roasting pan and both working in perfect concert.

Remember the Global Thanksgiving disaster when the waiter dropped the bird: The downfall of Turkey, the breakup of China and the overthrow of Greece.
