New In Box Potscrubber 1200

So I haven’t had time to get the installed but never used 1200 5 hours from me and today this pops up 30 minutes from me!! How could I not get this!!

Only 30 mins away!

There is a new never used but was installed 1200 unit 5 hours from me in NJ if anyone is interested in that. That one is only $75 and could probably be had for $50. This one is more expensive but totally worth it with the box all in completely pristine condition.

It’s home!

I picked it up tonight but now I have to decide what to do with it… Do I keep it NIB, use it as my daily driver, cycle it out in my kitchen once in a while…. It’s just so perfectly clean haha. Still has the pallet wood screwed to the feet and all the foam on everything inside. I’ll do a video of it a little later for everyone. I guess the owner bought it and ended up in a nursing home shortly after and the house remained vacant for 30 years with this just sitting inside in the box. A crazy cool story of how it ended up never being opened.

Honestly

I would keep it in box. I know that takes all the fun out of enjoying a really enjoyable machine, but at the same time your never going to have such a piece of perfectly preserved history.

 

If you are going to use it as a daily driver I would change the pump and sump to the "new" style. Its going to greatly increase performance and make the machine quieter.

I would definitely install and use it, This was easily GEs best DW ever up to this point in time.

 

If you decide not to keep using it pass it on to someone else that might enjoy it.

Going to use it

As cool as it is to have an unused machine it makes no sense to me to have a machine that gets no use, so it will be cycled through on a regular basis an I will just pop a used set of racks in it and keep the originals in the factory packaging. Half the fun of collecting these machines is using them and this shouldn’t be any exception. Looking forward to updating you all on its test run!
