New Kenmore Front Loaders

Do any of you have any information on these machines? Who manufactures them?

I just looked at Sears website and there was no Kenmore branded front loaders

Now Lowes or HD now has Kenmore branded front loaders, they could be from Midea or other Chineese producers.

The 2.2 cu.ft. washer model on Lowes' website is made by the Turkish brand Vestel.

What's really interesting: Kenmore used to have LGs TurboWash branded as Acella Wash.
And the quick wash function on these is still called Accela Wash.
So the registered trademark still exists even though it's no longer at all the same as it used to be.


The separate extra water and extra rinse buttons and the way they are ordered make me think of some US size machines that made it here.

I was looking at the video on the Lowes page and the side panels are exactly the ones used by Vestel.

I thought Kenmore was exclusive to Sears.

Sorry should have said the US size ones are a Midea design
The compact one is definitely a Vestel.

If you post a machine’s complete model and possibly its serial number, it should be possible to determine the OEM manufacturer.

Thanks. In the 15 years I’ve run my product dating service, only 1 person has ever enquired about the age of such a model and i have never had a service request on one since I started in the business in 1980 (although i am in Canada).

I did find out that that manufacturer does also make some Danby and Magic Chef models.
