New Kitchen Appliances - 18 months on

Hi all,
I posted maybe 18 months ago when I had my house re-modelled and the kitchen and its appliances replaced. I thought I'd post an update on "life with them" to date.

Starting with the Siemens Washing Machine:

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this machine at all - literally cannot think of a thing. It is absolutely silent - the noisy part of the cycle is it filling up with water. This is perfect for the open plan area it is in. The UK Consumer Magazine, Which, said it was noisy - I cannot understand where they got this from, or how they tested it!

The programme ranges are great, and you can alter the length, either by extending (eco perfect) or reducing (speed perfect) or leaving as is. The first 10 minutes are the machine weighing the load, slow tumbles, then it re-calculates the time, so no two cycles are the same. For example, a fully loaded 8kg 60*c cycle, with ECO Perfect selected, and three extra rinses approaches the 4.5hr time. Or a speed perfect cycle, sits at 58 minutes!

Water levels, when fully loaded, come above the door - get even higher if you select extra rinses. The foam detection system can add up to 45 mins to a programme, which I must admit seems to happen every time I wash a full load of towels.

Moving onto the dryer:

Again, as with the washing machine nothing to fault. I guess it could be a little quieter, but it isn't anything worth worrying about.

Tend to only use a couple of the cycles, in combination with low heat/less ironing options.

Large capacity, and quick programme times (especially after 1400 RPM spin)

Next is the BEKO dishwasher - this is actually about 4 years old now, so the oldest thing I own!
Used every day, I tend to use either the Intensive programme or "AUTO"
still going strong, no issues with this at all.
When it does need replacing, I'll look to a Miele or a Siemens machine

Neff Induction Hob:

I LOVE THIS!

It is so much better than gas (IMO) and the hob never gets hot - so much safer.

Very quick to cook with, controllable, and also looks great

Neff Oven:

Fan Assisted - Several Functions - 0*c to 270*c

Must admit, don't use it very much, but when I do, results are great - cooks quickly, evenly, and quietly (some cheaper fan ovens tend to be quite noisy)

Good reviews - can't buy one of them over here but wish we could. Love that water level in the washer, and real heat in the dishwasher!

Is the dryer a condenser model or airflow?

If you have a sec, post a pic of the whole kitchen again. I think I remember it but it's been a while.

Very Cool!

I love European appliances. I toyed with the idea of getting stackable W/D to make more room in my laundry closet. These sized machines would probably work great for me, being single.

What size bedding do you wash in them?

I guess Beko is coming to the states soon....be interesting to see what they offer.

I must say....after a FOUR HOUR GE dishwasher install I went through, 2 weeks ago, the fully enclosed Euro appliances entice me.
The cabinets in the house I bought are shite, and open insulation and tubes on American dishwashers made the install very difficult.

@joeypete, I cannot recommend enough the stacking of the washer/dryer if you have a setup for it. I'm liking it immensely.

I love the appliances - I just think Euro washers

are so much cooler than our USA washers. I'm so jealous of that water level. I have no problem with my washer, but there is something that looks cooler to me about some of the Euro washers I've seen vs ours over here.

I have the 12kg LG steam washer, whilst great, i do like the look of that siemens.
