I finally got my washer/dryer issues sorted out. The Electrolux pair are gone, full refund issued by Atlantic Appliance and the Miele pair are here. Hookup was a bit of an issue given that my utilities were all on the wrong side and, in order to pull out independently the hoses needed to be longer. Miele could not get the hose extensions right, there were thread issues, I think metric vs. American. I finally ended up just getting a hose-to-hose coupler and braided stainless extensions from home depot. My Uncle came down for the weekend and helped me install the cabinets. Sorry for the bad pics, hard to get pics inside a small room.

Understated Elegance

It is inspired, ingenious and irresistable. I'd be sleeping on the floor so I could admire the look.

Hi Andy. Did you see the post on programming the machine to add more water to the wash and rinses. It is under the Deluxe forum. If you cannot find, let me know and I will send to you.

The machines look great. Best of luck with them.

Are you happy the way the wash and dry?

Wow!

Thanks for all the compliments! It was hard work, but worth it in the end.

Ray, I did ask the installer to program and he claimed he did program for the water plus option, but I'm curious. Could you please send me the programming link and I'll check it out. So far, I'm very happy with the washer and dryer. The washer is all but silent while washing and has minimal vibration when spinning at high speed spin. I leveled it, but I should probobly check it again. The dryer gets the loads perfectly dry every time, no questions, and its fast. Its fan moves a ton of air.

The cabinets are KraftMaid and I ordered them from HomoDepot. The wahser dryer cabinet is called the "fabric care ensamble". It comes in different heights. Mine was 96" tall so I ended up with cabinets that were 42" tall, 32" deep and each about 32" wide. They are really massive cabinets that will hold lots of crap-ola. I plan to load the top shelves up with rarely used stuff, entertaining wine glasses, champaigne flute 6 doz of each, and chafing dishes, etc.
