hello to all aw members with the new maytag top load washer i would like to know what detergent is better with a dispenser drawer powder liquid or tabs like tide pods ect thank you for any reference on the matter

Definitely no pods. Only liquid or powder. And that choice should be your personal preference.

Emphasizing Appnut's reply above ... laundry pods and tablets NEVER go into a detergent dispenser UNLESS the machine has a special dispenser specifically designed for them which it will say so in the instruction book and on the dispenser.
