Hi guys, my name is Léo, I'm a new member here.
I collect and restore vintage washing machines.

Here is some machines of my little collection:
-Arthur-Martin 792.08 (very nice top loading machine, modified for have the half load function on cottons programs).
-Bosch V461 (needs to glue the detergent drawer pipe).
-Brandt Statomatic 416 (pictured)
-Brandt Statomatic 418 (one of my favorite machine)
-Laden LN6905 (the infamous "T12" chassis but in great condition).
-Philips T635 (one of the first Philips machine with electronic speed control).
-Vedette 5583LUXE (almost the same design of the Statomatic).
...etc

One of my other hobby is dismounting and fixing washing machine mechanical timers (I collect them too !)

I also love vintage hifi, especially high end cassette decks.

Cordially
Léo

Welcome!

You'll fit right in here. Now I get to learn what a French vintage washer is like. That Brandt looks cool. Do we get to see more of it?

Welcome Léo, I know there is at least one other member here from France who had some really interesting washers. French Frigidaire washers from the 60's were super fun to see.

Hi Leo ...

... I'm also relatively new.

I ALSO love vintage stereos ... particularly turntables. I have a 1968 Garrard 40 MK II and a 1978 BIC 980.

Welcome!

Matt

Bonjour Léo!

Moi aussi je parle Français mais je suis du Québec...

I'd really like to have more information on the Frigidaire Pulsamatic automatic and semi-automatic washing machines from France!

Et aussi sur les autres électroménagers!

Welcome Léo!

Nice vintage Brandt you got.
We will be glad to see other machines from your collection ;)

Ingemar

Hi, thank you for your hospitality.

I love Crouzet timers, especially the beige ones (Most of the Brandt Statomatic use them).

Another of my favorites timers are the Sibel (like the one on my profile picture) because you can see the mechanism, they are used in many French machines.

Here is the Arthur-Martin 792.08:

And the (dusty) Philips T635:
This one makes a sort "spin drain" (not so spectacular than the Indesit), the spinning starts at 200rpm with the tub full of water and the speed increases gradually to max 550rpm when the tub empties.
