Hi all! My name is Kieran and I collect basically anything old and electric. My favorite is vacuum cleaners, although I have branched off with some stuff such as irons and mixers.

I was exploring the woods behind my house and found the remains of an old Centrex washer. It is missing the wringer and motor portion and part of the metal is rusted through. The plastic is mostly intact and has most of the inner parts. I would really appreciate some info on it. I will make a post later in the Shoppers Square for the salvageable parts. Thanks!

I did not, although I will next time I go up. I don't think it has a built in agitator though. The wringer and motor are long gone but it has most of its gears.

Well whaddya know. I went up yesterday and took some more pics. It does have an agitator! All that is left it the spindle, but still. There is also a sad looking speed queen that only has half of its body. It does have the cool looking knob with logo though. The Centrex seems similar to the Wizard Wiz o matic, but without the dial. To find it, just type in "vintage wizard washer". It is the first pic, an ad.
