New member - looking for a vintage KA dishwasher

Hi all. I've been a member of Vacuumland for a few years now, and I finally decided to join Automatic Washer. I've been lurking in the shadows for years, but now I intend become an active member. Unfortunately, I do not currently have space or funds for a full appliance collection, but I would like to start off with a KitchenAid KD-16, 17, 18, or 20 dishwasher. We don't have a dishwasher at all now, and since the crappy modern dryer is broken, I'll just put it next to the Automatic Washer. I'd also like to find some vintage window air conditioners. I'm going this Tuesday June 30th to the Goodwill Appliance Auction. I've never been, but I've been told that they have all sorts of appliances old and new.

I recently acquired a KitchenAid KDS-19. Fun machines and definitely very retro.
I suggest, as others may agree, to try for an 18-20 series.
That way you get the FULL KA washing system with two wash arms instead of just one.
Even better if you score a Superba model as they wash better than the Imperial, Custom or Deluxe models.

The auction was cancelled on that day due to the rain, but it was rescheduled for this coming Tuesday. Hopefully I'll find something good.
