Hi Group!
My name is Sharon and I am teacher with an interest in antique household appliances. I have a vintage redone 1950s youngstown dianna series kitchen sink/cabinets which were in my house when we bought in early 2000s. We restored it ourselves and had to take the cusheen counter top off and fabricate a new countertop.
Now we are moving onto appliance!
Thankfully my husband is an appliance repair man with 50 yrs of experience!
I am wanting to complete my youngstown set with major appliances from the 1950s.
So I’m on the quest and looking!
Things of particular interest youngstown jet tower dishwasher, ge wall mount fridges, period stoves and fridges! Ultimate wish list item: arco wand central vac 1900s!

Other neat facts, we have an early 1930 American standard boiler system that is remarkably huge! We have replaced the motor(multiple times) coupler springs, and had to fabricate a new fill tube for this baby! Recently we replaced the motor with a B&G 100 series that had a smaller flange to flange measurement. Essentially we had to remove old flanges and replumb 100 year old piping to replace motor that still works beautifully to this day-
I just have an appreciation for vintage “technology “ and love to learn about it!
