Aristotle, Where Are You

Aristotle, we hope all is well with you.

It's very bad there.

We know of people in Kingwood, Victoria, Legends Estates in Spring, and near League city. Those all flooded.
One e-mailed a photo of their single story home flooded half way up the windows.
They lost two vehicles. They do have flood insurance.

I'm good, thanks for the concern. I've been helping neighbors, as we were pretty fortunate. We had just a little water intrusion, since our house sits up higher than the surrounding area; I suppose the highest on our block. Since we did not loose power I've been able to offer the services of our Frig. Custom Imperial double oven and range to help neighbors get a hot meal. Also, yesterday I used our 50s chrome rotisserie to make a pork tenderloin for some Vietnamese down the street (their roof partially caved in and I filed an insurance claim for them, as their English is very limited). Overall we are managing. I'm a philosophy professor and all institutions of higher ed. in Houston are shut down until at least next week; so I've got some spare time. Numerous neighbors fled and I've been checking up on their houses. We are going to make it.

Glad you're safe and able to help out your neighbors. Anyone know how 2packs4sure is doing? He expressed some concern about his neighborhood flooding.
