Well I was not sure I was going to get this but I got it off Ebay. Only paid $50.00 and the guy selling it is moving to SC and will deliver it for me. For a price - $200. Sill I love it and can't wait to find a home for me and the stove. Check it out on the link to see more of it.

Great for you! I can't seem to bring the picture up large enough to view, but hopefully when you get it in the house you can shoot us some more pics.

We had one of these. They are wonderful stoves. The oven insulation is not quite what you would find in a Westinghouse, especially with the thin doors, but if the surface units are still flat, it will cook very well. Note that the fast 6 inch surface unit has a different heating pattern. Settings 2 and LO heat only the inner coil so it is great for small diameter pans. Be sure to remove the two storage drawers before cleaning the ovens so that you do not run the risk of having oven cleaner drip onto the highly polished aluminum handles. Once you have cleaned the ovens, it is perfectly safe to put heavy duty foil on the floor of the oven UNDER THE BAKE ELEMENT so long as it does not touch the bake element and does not touch the hinged connector area at the back. I hope that you have a lot of fun with this stove. It was well made. On most GE cooktops, there are two higher wattage elements and two with lower wattage. Often the rear 8 inch element is the lower wattage one. It will not look any different than the higher wattage one. These elements will give a bit slower cooking. I thought I would mention it and save you some questions and maybe worries.

My mother had a single oven model just like that stove when I was a child. She replaced it with a fancy dual-fuel stainless steel stove. Still, the mere image of that range there brings back lots of memories. I specifically remember the heat levels were selected with pushbuttons up on top of the control panel. I also remember the distinctive sound of the timer going off. That sound usually meant dinner was ready, or some other delicious treat. To this day, my mouth waters whenever I hear one of those old timer buzzers going off !
