You have a beautiful home. When I moved into this house I thought about getting a couple of those for the back yard, but decided not to after I saw all the dust that comes from the concrete company next door. Clothes would be dirty before they even dried.

We had an umbrella style clothesline that slid into a pipe mounted in flush piece of concrete. It worked great until a huge ass gust of wind snapped it off with 3 loads of laundry on it.
I did dig the hole and poured the QuickCrete concrete. We did everything it said to do. Tomorrow I am heading to Target to get the clothespins. Hopefully I can find some good old fashioned American made ones...but I wont hold my breath. This clothesline was made by Lehigh and of course made in China. For the price I figured it was a good deal. Its about 197 ft of lines. It does say 32 pounds max for clothes so we will see.
On the yard my other half does it all...he loves doing yardwork and its his passion.
Here is another pic of the yard....
Good luck finding American made pins. I looked recently at Target, and found that they had 3 different choices, but they all had one thing in common: Made In China.
Thats what I figured on the clothespins. There was once a company in Maine that made them and they made the best. And thanks for the comments guys...Scott puts alot of himself and gawd knows money into the yard. Its the one thing he looks forward to when spring comes.
The yard looks great, the grass looks fab, I have a thing about nice looking green lawns and what is that beautiful rock wall everywhere. I'd kill for that. Is it a wall or sort of enforcing an embankment?
The rock wall was built in the late 60's and it wraps around the neighbors property. Behind it was landfilled in since it was a slope at one time. . This year the lawn looks good...but crabgrass always seems to crop up from time to time.
