Well, the local King Soopers (Kroger) is clearing out a bunch of detergents:

They're dropping:

All Small & Mighty w/Snuggle 32 oz.
All 2x (all 100 oz. bottles)
All 2x HE (150 oz.)
Gain Apple Mango Tango (all sizes)
Tide Pure Essentials (50 oz.)
Sun Burst w/Cuddle Soft
Purex Complete (entire line)
Surf (80 load)
Arm & Hammer Essentials (150 oz.)
Snuggle Creme (all scents)
Tide Clean Breeze (50 oz.)

In other news...

They had the first boxes & bottles of Finish without any reference to Electrasol. And it was missing something: the Phosphorus count. Has it gone phosphate-free?

I believe all dishwasher detergents are going to be phosphate-free, eventually. I hope the gap between the end of phosphates/crappy detergent performance and finding a new formula that cleans as well as what we have now is a small one.

I have been using the new no-phosphate liqui-gel Cascade DW detergent for several weeks and am still getting very clean dishes. It has chlorine bleach and the fresh scent, not the fruity smelling formulas that leave flavors in Tupperware and other plastics.

I noticed that my local Kroger doesn't have a private label laundry detergent (but do have a private label softener). Wonder why?

New Product

Reformulated Tide w/Febreze is out. Now has "renewing" technology. It also does more loads than the old formula.
