Hey guys,

Here in Germany, we are flooded with new products at the moment from so many manufacturers. So I want to give you a brief view of what going on here.

Ariel came up with this:

Lets go on. Our beloved, classic Sunil is gone forever (I wanna cry). Now Unilever throws this on the market:

Hello Italy. You know those right? Well, they will be available in Germany as well in about 2 weeks ;-)

Oh, I forgot you're going to visit Brazil... LOL

Well, if you want to bring some and it's not going to be annoying, of course I'll love to have more products added to my collection.

Just to avoid repeated products, from germany I have a box of Persil megaperls and a huge box of Dixan.

Feel free to choose what you want to bring.

If I have the time, I'll try to send some argentinian and paraguayan detergents to a member of the brazilian community in Sao Paulo and ask him or her to find you and give them to you.

Fleckentferner!

(Man, do I wish now that I'd paid attention in my three years of German and stuck with it!!)

Are all of those packaging variations on Stain Release treatments? Are they basically just enzymes and water conditioners, I wonder?

I give up on what "Actic Power" is though.

I don't know about no fleckenfurter...

The fox on the Spee looks like the same on the Mexican Henkel product "1-2-3", but it is an uber-sudsing product.

Persil "Reine Frische"

I have it right on my washing machine as "Dixan Freschezza di Vernel". The bottle and colour and label are almost the same. It washes very well but it's a pain to rinse, it needs at least two more rinses in my machine to stop foaming!

Arctic Power is used for cold water washing hence the name. I just picked up at my local Target the new Tide in wash Stain Release Powder. They had the Tabs, powder and liquid. At $6.99 for it it had better work!

Okay, Okay. Let me answer the questions one after another:

Except the first Ariel products, all products are regular detergents.

Persil ACTIC Power: The name comes from the expression "ACtive at arcTIC temperatures". It is a detergent for low-temperature-washes as nmassman44 said correctly.

PeterH770 got that right with the fox: German Spee is the mother of all the detergents with the fox around the world.

dj-gabriele: The Persil "Reine Frische" replaces the Persil with the freshness of Vernel. You can't buy it anymore and it had a different scent.

The crystals from Vernel are a new form of fabric softener. It is available in Italy for about a year I think. Maybe the italian users can tell you more.
