Wow! I had a great night at work last night when I had a massive cage full of "New" products come in.
So I thought id let ya'll know what ya can expect so see over the next few weeks.
Firstly a friendly rant, let me get it over and done with about PandG and there new wonder product.
A supoosedly successful detergent company who has so much faith in their washing detergents that they say you can use their premium brand and get excellent whites at 30*c feel the need to produce a new stain remover powder WACKO! with bleach and OB's .
I predicted this a few weeks ago on a thread somewhere which ive yet to locate, my thought was that because Ariel Bio/Non Bio dosnt clean whites to the standard Persil does, eventually they would release a Chlorox type product to aid a perfect white at low temps.
Well its here. Ace Stain Remover Powder.
It says its for deep cleaning and colour protection but if im not mistaken are Ob's and Oxygen BA's not bad for coloureds?
The smell when I opened the box was pretty shocking, I got a strong whiff of chlorine bleach for some reason but now Ive smelt it more it actually has the same perfume in it that the previous Daz powder had in it.
Instructions on usage are pretty strict, you cant add this prodcut in a dosing ball or directly in the drum, no doubt because it will bleach colours badly on contact.
62ml/50g for a normal dose.......... it gets better....... for very tough stains use double! So Ariel, Daz, Fairy and Bold are not good enough with their dosages even with the add 80ml Extra and See the Difference! for very tough stains you also have to see the difference! with double of this.
I can just imagine how this product will be advertised.
" washing at temperatures as low as 30* whites become dingy and some stains may not be removed, New Ace Powder the answer to all them problems! Guaranteed to remove ground in grime at low temps and also kill many species of aqautic life when you pump this amazing cocktail of chemicals into the rivers and streams" ok you get the jist LOL!
It will be good to see how well this prodcut sells and if it really does work, I only bought some for the pic and will try it on a white shirt I have only washable at low temps. Id try it with Persil but the regular whites from that are perfect and I suspect it wont really make much difference except to really blind the neighbours with pegged out washing.
Retailing at £2.99
500g
SURCARE FS is now being relaunched, they have done away with the regular formulation and now are concentrating on a concentrated formula. its still un perfumed, quite thick and looks ok. Having said that when I gave it a quick whiff I got a nosefull of BBQ'd beef burgers, despite being unperfumed it does have that kind of smell to it. Not my thing I think.
"Tesco" have got a new line up of 2in1 products with a new Ocean flavour liquid and powder detergent, dosnt smell very nice IMO rather cheap and unlike the ocean scents of other products, in fact it has a fishy smell, well maybe thats the ocean bit for you........
Finish Rinse Aid will now be known as "Finish Drying Aid with Turbo Dry"!. Premium product premium Price tag.
This formulation is like thick bleach as opposed to watery rinse aid and tells you all about how it dries dishes from the dishwasher without water streaks and with some nice pics. I wonder how the thickness will be in the rinse aid dispenser and whether it could clog some up. but as sooon as the Hottie needs some il get some. Im out of the regular one anyway.
500ml for £2.99
Tesco "Naturally" Range has also got a new Soya Wax candle that burns for a long 60 hours with a Vanilla scent. Another push for the own label ecological products.
"METHOD" eco cleaning prducts, Ive seen funky containers of Lavender Washing up liquid that are available on the American detergent market along with cucumber multi purpose cleaner and various handwashes (like Carex) flavoured with "Sweet Water" and Lavender.
Funky Products that will look good on your shelves and supposedly clean with minimum impact on the environment. Worth a go when im due a product top up.
"Ecover" have also brought out an Eco Friendly handwash (like Carex) but ive yet to open the case to have a gander.
think thats aout it, sure there was something else that I can add when I think what it is.
